The Kingdom of Heaven; the Kingdom of God;
The King and His Reign

This table is a means of studying the word "kingdom" as used in the New Testament. As an important part of that study, the Kingdom of God can easily be compared to the Kingdom of Heaven. Use parts one and two for that. Similar events from the four Gospels are placed side by side when "kingdom" is present. It can be seen that while Matthew mostly used "Kingdom of Heaven", Mark, Luke and John often used "Kingdom of God".

Verses in Acts through Revelation that use "kingdom" are listed on page three. The expression "Kingdom of Heaven" is not found there, with the possible exception being "heavenly kingdom". The related words, "King", and "Reign" are also found there.  The color coding is self-explanatory and makes comparison of verses faster. For obvious reasons, coloring is not used when a secular kingdom is the only one being considered.
