The Hebrew Verb nâsham

In Isaiah 42:15 nâsham is  transalated "I will destroy" (KJV). This could be rendered "I will breathe," "I will blow" or even "I will snort" (K & D). The ASV and some other newer versions translate nâsham, "I will pant." The idea is that the Lord will soon breathe heavily like a woman in labor.
